GETBEAT FFL 2023-2024 Exit Survey and League Year 2024-2025 Key Dates

League Owners,

Thanks for another great season of #GETBEAT fantasy football.  Parity is abundant in #GETBEAT FFL, as is evident in the fact the championship title has been taken home for the first time by team owner BK.  Please join me in congratulating BK on their lucky draft, lucky season, and lucky playoffs.  Some would say you make your own luck.  Not me.  That ish was lucky AF.  None-the-less…. Congratulations on being so lucky!!

For the 2^nd time in 3 years, Show me your TDs finished in second place.  Placing for a prize and consistently striving for first place is what this league is all about.  No it isn’t, it’s all about first place.  Will 2024-2025 be the year Show me your TDs cracks the winner’s circle?  Will Half-mast Heroes return to glory after 2-years of half-mast fantasy football?  Or will steak-chase-a-dilla retake his rightful position at the helm of the greatest Fantasy Football throne this world has ever seen?  2024-2025 is bound to be another exciting season for the record books, which have been updated and are posted live at www.getbeatffl.com.

Now for bookkeeping….

With a last place finish, Positive Vibes was not so vibin’.  However, Positive Vibes has won the first overall pick in the 2024-2025 draft.  They have also been awarded the following prize:

Last place owner has to change their team name for the entirety of the subsequent season.  Name ideas are submitted by all league managers to the commissioner and a vote is established determining the last place owner’s team name for the upcoming season.

The 2023-2024 #GETBEAT exit survey is now live.  Your vote carries the same weight as all team owners, of course unless you choose not to use it.  In addition to several potential rules changes for the upcoming season and Positive Vibe’s Team name change suggestion box, the exit survey includes a section at the end for your general comments.  Reasonable ideas to improve the league are always considered… most of the time.  The survey takes a minute or two to complete, and can be accessed by the link provided below.  The exit interview must be completed no later than June 15, 2024, at 4:20 PM.

If you are planning to surrender ownership of your team, please let me know ASAP. 

Key dates: 

1. Exit interview submission is due by June 15, 2024.  
2. Your commitment to renew ownership in the league is due to me by July 1, 2024 (no response assumes no change in ownership). 
3. Your commitment to the optional keeper position (and player you will keep) is due to me by September 1, 2024 (no response assumes no keeper).  Please check out the exit interview for a proposed change to the keeper selection deadline.
4. League dues must be received by August 15, 2024.  Dues cannot be paid until the league has been renewed and rules have been finalized.  A notice will be sent when dues can be processed.
